STEAM Workshop Week ten -The final Workshop

We teamed up with our local Dublin school, The Good Shepard National School in Churchtown, to deliver STEAM Education’s fun packed and stimulating Engineering programme for 9-13 year old kids, “Engineering in a Box”. The highly interactive and fun focussed programme was co-taught by the inspirational Niamh Smith, Primary Teacher with the Good Shepard and our very own dynamic duo, Engineers Jerry Brennan and Ryan Lavery covering topics including making and testing bridges, wind farming to make electricity, designing and making their own sweet factory and a glimpse into the world of robotics, making a replica of a biomechanical hand. 

The children got so much out of the workshops  and we think Niamh, Ryan and Jerry have inspired some future engineers….!!Thanks to STEAM, Niamh and the fantastic kids in The Good Shepard NS in Churchtown and to our very own Jerry and Ryan for their time, positive energy and expertise.
