First sod turned at Roscommon’s New Civic Headquarters

The sod has officially been turned on the build of Roscommon’s New Civic Headquarters

Mayor Martin Connaughton officiated the sod turning accompanied by the members of Roscommon County Council and the council executive.

The County Manager, Frank Dawson says the provision of a New Civic Headquarters is a long-term investment for the people of Co Roscommon, and will provide better customer facilities at one central point for all council services and also says it’s great to see such positive activity in the local area

The New Civic Headquarters is due to open in Autumn 2015.
