Grifols Biopharmaceutical Facility Phase One & Two

Stewart Construction were appointed as Construction Manager and Main Contractor for the Grifols Biopharmaceutical Facility Phase 1 and 2 developments. Working in collaboration with Grifols and the PM Group design team, Stewart Construction delivered on the required levels of experience, expertise and commitment to ensure project success. Winning many awards including Manufacturing Facility of the Year 2016 & Fit-Out Client of the Year 2015.

Phase 1 is a 22,500m2 project comprising of a fully serviced international logistics centre. The impressive project comprises of an Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems for refrigerated blood plasma product storage, research laboratories. It also includes a new high end warehouse, laboratories, cleanroom packaging and logistics building, a maintenance block and the construction and fit out of a high calibre 3 storey administration office for Grifols Worldwide Operations European Flagship Centre in Ireland.

The Phase 2 extension comprises of a 18,500m2  albumin processing facility, which will be connected to Phase 1 by way of a feature link corridor and is due to be completed in late 2018. See the sites impressive progress from April 2017- October 2017.
